Ocasio-Cortez gets HUMILIATED after awkward Twitter blunder

Leftist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez deleted a blunder tweet on Thursday that ignorantly identified a high-ranking Democrat as one of the Republican Party’s “older male members.”

The freshman New York Democrat representative was responding to a tweet by the Republican Party of Kentucky that features a photo of Rep. John Yarmuth, a Kentucky Democrat who’s the chairman of the House Budget Committee, standing next to a cardboard cutout of her.

Ms Ocasio-Cortez attacked Republicans after the image was shared of the politician standing next to a cardboard version of herself. Raging, she took to Twitter criticise the man, who she believed was a politician for the Democrats’ rivals.

However, within minutes it was made clear that it was actually John Yarmuth, a Kentucky Democrat

Conservative Caleb Hull replied: “In this tweet, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez shows she has no idea who John Yarmuth even is.

“He’s a Kentucky Democrat who just happens to be the Chair of the House Budget Committee.”

Ocasio-Cortez, who has risen to become a prominent voice in the House freshman class now has more than 4 million Twitter followers, deleted the tweet after realizing her huge blunder.

Ocasio-Cortez frequently captures attention of millennials with her social media posts and has as a consequences risen to become one of the most high-profile Democrats in the House.
